Join us in beautiful coastal South Carolina for an informative and
enlightning glaze workshop. This lecture-oriented workshop focuses on
developing an understanding of fundamentals of glaze and firing
technology, as well as on learning methods of testing and
experimentation.
Beginner and experienced potters alike will benefit as they learn
methods to assist in gaining increased creative and technical control of
their own work.

Lili Krakowski graduated in 1953 from the School for American Craftsmen
of the Rochester Institute of Technology, studying under Frans
Wildenhain and Hobart Cowles. She continued her studies at the
Camberwell School for Arts and Crafts in London under Norah Braden. As
a working potter and teacher, Ms. Krakowski has specialized in wood
fired and cone six electric fired functional ware, focusing for the past
ten years or so in slip decoration. She is a frequent contributor to
both Ceramics Monthly, and Pottery Making Illustrated.
While maintaining a studio in New York, Ms. Krakowski spends her winters
in Charleston, S.C., working and teaching at the Gibbes Museum Studio.

Bring a bag lunch. There will be a Oyster Roast/Potluck on Saturday
night at "Dina's Pottery Party House on the Marsh".
