I'd HIGHLY recommend this workshop...Julia is a terrific thrower AND
handbuilder. She's got an entertaining patter and works so quickly it's =
amazing
how many techniques she shows in a short time. Take along lots of paper and
TAKE NOTES. She goes into very specific detail about how to's. Saw her at
Lewis =26 Clark College in Portland, OR this past year and wish I could see =
her
again.

Deb Bouchette
in Oregon, where the sun was again shining today...the air almost smelled =
like
spring...had a momentary cloudburst that left wonderful wisps of fog on the
hills

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone in the Gainesville area know about the
Julia Galloway workshop at the University of Florida on January 27,
9:00am to 4:00 pm and Jan 28th, 9:00 am to noon in the ceramics
department - FAC B-14.. Julia will also be showing slides of her work
on Thursday night at 7:30 pm.

This workshop is provided for free by the Florida Potters Guild - a
student run organization at UF- although contributions of =2420 are
appreciated from those who can afford to donate to the organization. We
would love to see anyone in the community and area attend.

Julia Galloway is a functional potter who went to Alfred and the
University of Colorado, spent some time at Archie Bray, and is now
teaching at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Please join us for this great workshop=21
