I have been reading this particular
thread with interest
(not that I don't read the rest
with interest, cause if I wasn't
interested I wouldn't read them
:=7D ) Sorry been one of those days.

My daughter, 26, has a cyst
on her wrist where the wrist
bends, just below the thumb
and index finger. She went to
a doctor had it removed, it came
back, eventually ruptured, and
came back with a vengence.
The thing is huge. She has started
drawing faces on it=21
She grooms dogs and the thing
really bothers her.

Maybe she should try the Bible
slamming remedy.

Hi Sheron -
I kind of hesitate to reply to the list on this one, since it's, well . . .
a little on the woo woo side, however, I had a ganglion cyst on my wrist,
just below the thumb - pretty much like your daughter (the thing was only
about 1/2 inch in diameter though). I'd had it for 2 or 3 years when I first
met my husband. He noticed it, said it just needed a little energy work,
spent a minute or so rubbing it and several days later I noticed to my
surprise that the dumb thing had disappeared!

That was 7 years ago and it's still completely gone. Go figure. Anyway,
perhaps something in the way of alternative healing might help your
daughter. If not, there's always the Bible.

- Lee in Seattle (and no, unfortunately Kevin does not allow me to rent him
out for healing sessions)

Lee,
Oh come on, he might like a trip to
NC,,,
,just kidding,
I do believe in alternative medicines
and healing. I have my asthma under
control using alternatives, but there is
one thing I cannot do
and that is touch bumps or knots or
warts or clean out scrapes and cuts.
(I was a good mom, but my daughters
were the nurses)
LOL
I will have to find some one who can.
In the meantime I think she has
become attached to the little thing,
or it attached to her, as the case may be.

Dear Sheron -- I have a friend who has had hers removed three times and has
tried the bible thing too ! Her doctor had told her of the name and she
thought she would give it a try ! We expect it to come back sooner or later.
AT almost 50 ,I guess she has just learned to live wih it. pamalab
