I knew I had it somewhere
some months ago before I was =22computerised' I was writing a paper to =
present to
the local potters on Lead Release and a potter friend did a internet search
for me and snail-mailed the results...thank you Brian K if you read this..
This was among his info. TO PURGE..
Obtain a kiln safe container..or several..as close as possible to the kiln
interior.
or make them. Fill these with Neph Syenite which attracts lead.Fire at =
least
270 degrees F to cone 04 and hold for 2 hours. at this temp. The neph =
syenite
can be expected to turn yellow ...and should be thrown away. You may need to
repeat.

yes..I always add bentonite to clay slip..seems to make it elastic
