Well, Paul Taylor, the original glaze recipe really wasn't designed as a
base glaze for C9 and therein lies the problem: how do you adjust a RCP
that does not meet acceptable standards for C9?
It seems, so says the potter who raised the issue, that this mix
was meant to be sparsely put ontop of a slip glaze to create some
movement, and all was ok on the claybody and the slip glaze at C9. But to
make the runny glaze behave without the slip, now that's a new ballpark.
