Just wondering if anyone, when doing raku work, has skipped the bisque
firing and simply applied glaze to a dry unfired greenware pot and fired
it to completion.
Can this work? Has it worked? Anyone done it? What was the result as
compared to the more traditional method of bisque first, glaze, then
fire. Was the firing time affected? Up? Down? Problems induced? Things
to watch out for?
