Lynn,

I have not used this in years, but, the recipe I have is:

Jensen Blue
cone 10, reduction

5400g Del Monte Feldspar (I use Custer feldspar)
700g Barium Carb. (usual disclaimer about leaching)
1100g Whiting
800g Colemanite
600g Kaolin (EPK)
2200g Silica (I use 325 mesh)
200g Red Iron Oxide
600g Ceramic Rutile

Anyone converted this to Strontium instead of the barium? How does it
look afterwards?

Donald,

Looks like someone fiddled with the recipe between the one I posted and
yours. I suspect that in my version someone tried to make the glaze less
runny by upping the silica and alumina because everything else is the
same. It will be an interesting experiment to see the difference between
the two recipes. Maybe Lynn will try them both and tell us which she
likes best.
