A claybud and I would like to know what the numbers mean that are
written after frits and some clays... for example, frit #### or Standard
Clay ####. Does anybody know from where they were derived in the first
place? This info won't affect our workings with clay, but is a niggling
question to which we can't find an answer. Thank you from both of us.

In the Mojave firing bisque in the gas Geil for the first time ... have
always used electric for bisque... clayarters were right - it's a piece
of cake..... AND sorry for the field mouse who came in out of the cold,
played around, knocking to floor several small bisqued magnets and
toothpick holders... probably all he could push around... even managed
to hit super-sensitive wheel pedal so wheel was spinning.... and then
broke into a bag of chemical, ate some for his last meal....and toppled
over.... pobrecito....
