We are beginning ceramics students. As part of our assignment we are to ask
questions about techniques or results of our pieces. Some of us fired our
pieces with a cone 6 clear glaze in an electric kiln and some of the pieces
came out gritty or with a pitted texture, why? All pieces were cleaned of
dust prior to glazing. Thanks
