I thought I would take a nice drive through Southern Missouri (Nixa MO)
and see some Fall Colors still in action, but no luck there. I was
running a bit low on clay and had been trying to make time for this 5
hour drive for a while, well I finally found a free weekend, called to
check their hours, they said for me to come down Sunday for their annual
Raku Fest. They told me to bring a pot or two and plan to Raku.
I took a bowl that I wanted to Raku, only to kick it out of the truck
and watch it break in the theater parking lot. They had a nice crowd
and even without having anything to fire myself I enjoyed watching /
learning from others.
I'd just like to tell the folks at L&R thanks for their warm hospitality
and great prices on clay. It was well worth the drive.
