updated wed 20 oct 99

Terry Sullivan/Nottingham Center for the Arts on tue 19 oct 99

A party and workshop at Nottingham, ya all come; it's free.....

To celebrate our first year of opperation we are having a sculpture and HUGE
pit fire workshop featuring Marc Lancet from Solano College. ( info on web
site)
The 20x6x6 ft. pit will be fired off at sunset on the 30 th of Oct. and will
begin the Celebration Party.
There will be live music, the pit fire, the Louis Katz clay kiln will be salt
fired, and the big campfire will be going. And, of course, lots of good beer
and munchies. There will also be a fresh taco stand with inexpensive eats.

Ya all are invited to both and it's FREE

However advance registration for the workshop portion is required since space
is limited. (we'd kinda like an RSVP on the party as well just to know how
many are commin).
There will be slide show of Marcs work on Friday , oct 29 th., at 7 p.m. and
the workshop starts at 9 a.m Sat. Unloading of the pit on sunday will be
around 10 to 11 a.m. depending on how late we party.

You can register and/or RSVP to the center at (760) 752-1020 or email Cara
Moczygemba at CaraMox@aol.com (or me, Terry Sullivan, at Go2tms@aol.com)
Pleeeease do not reply via the NottSchl address on this message header. It is
for the Clayart Listserv mail box only.

Participants of the workshop should bring bisque ware/sculpture as large a
piece(s) as you can manage. Work clothes, work gloves and rubber garden
gloves.
There is cammping space at the Nottingham Center but no showers and
inexpensive motel space within a block.

We made it through our first year and 2000 is going to be even better.
Come celebrate with us.
