when using soda ash on shino, i have found that
keeping it warm will keep it in a good solution, and
does not get all full of crystals.

i use a `keep a mug hot plate`...you know those little
plug in things that you can set a mug on....
well, i use boiling water, add soda ash till it cannot
take any more, then set it on the little warmer.
can get through an entire glazing day that way.
just sorta simmers away.
again thanks to dannon for her instructions on the use
of hot soda ash.
she was my teacher at hay creek....
she is an inventer.

Mel,
I just read your advice about keeping the soda ash warm, but how do you apply
it? I must have missed the information about how to use soda ash on shino.
Thanks, Tonya
