bent wheel head screws

Would anyone happen to know where I could find the screws that go in the
wheel head and hold the bat in place? I managed to bend one of mine and am
unable to put the wing nut on it causing my bat to wobble.

These are just 1/4" coarse-thread allen-socket cap-screws, available at any
big home-improvement store that has one of those displays of esoteric
hardware. If not there, most good traditional auto supply stores will have
them. Get new ones the same length as your old ones. Different wheels
require different lengths.
Good luck -

almost any hardware store will carry the pins.. ask for "Hex Pins".. 3/8
inch.( the actual shaft for the wheel head will be 1/4 inch. Or better yet..
take your bent pin with you.. They are also available in stainless steel..so
rust is never a problem again...

You don't say where you are located but if you are in Northern California
you can get them at Yardbirds. They even have stainless steel ones,
If you are in some other state or country ask for Allen head cap screws as
that is what they are sold as in the trade, at least here in the USA. Any
industrial hardware outlet should have them. The US size is 1/4 - 20.
Maybe someone in Europe will post the metric size, that is if they even use
them over there.

Too many wrenches are aggravating to keep up with.

So I took my bat pins out and took them to the hardware
store. I said "I want four more of these, only not
allen wrench type, the type that I can put a wing nut
underneath the wheel to keep it tight." I had a bat
with me to check for fit in the bat-holes.

I bought four in case someone lost the bat pins.
Oddly enough, now that they are wing-nutted tight,
no-one has decided to take them out and lose them!
