I'm sure you made a mistake.
Clarify if the burners are under the floor, like the Geil or Olsen updraft,
or enter from the side, cross draft style. If they're under the floor, no bag
wall is necessary, in my experience. Other wise 2 courses bricks on their
side or a small kiln shelf 8" high is enough. Sometimes just a little post is
enough to deflect the flame. Good luck. Bonita in San Francisco where the air
