I have rented over a dozen videos from the Studio Pottery Library
Catherine Merrill runs the Video Library. She is always difficult to get a
hold of. Keep on trying.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the latest issue of Studio Potter =
is out and Jon Singer has an nice article about his mini-me kiln.

I also have an article, as does Michael Kline, Tom Spleth, Lindsay =
Rogers, etc.

It is a great issue and if you don't subscribe to Studio Potter you =
should consider it. It is a great alternative to the typical =
advertisement based magazines and I know that they need new subscribers =
to keep in business!

So if you haven't ever considered it, please do!

Thanks,

John Britt

It *is* a good issue (if I don't say so myself (-: ). I've been reading SP
since I was a student at the U Of T/Knoxville back in the '80's where the
library was good to subscribe to it. I would highly recommend subscribing if
you don't already. And if your library doesn't subscribe, suggest that they
do.

the email list? how is that? I hear little mention of it of late and used
to think it was a good read and very informative.Anxiously waiting a

Eric,

Studio Potter is by far the best periodical on ceramics that is
published in the US.

If my subscription ever lapses, I make sure they send me all the
issues I missed. It's great.

Hello,

I was invited to be in a 2009 Yunomi Invitational AKAR gallery show/sale/fundraiser. This year part of the donation at our option -- part of the proceeds are to go to Studio Potter. It sounds as if they are in need of financial assistance according to the letter I received. Maybe Bob Briscoe could offer a better account of the situation?

I just received my first issue of SP. I was pretty much blown away, as compared to other pubs I receive on the subject. The content is excellent and runs the gamut from basics to art matters. The photography and layout are remarkable as well.

I really wanted to give a shout out for Studio Potter. This is one of the
best publications around and worth every cent. If you cancel all your
others and just take this one, you won't be sorry. In fact, you'll want
ONLY this one, because it is so much denser, thoughtful, inspiring and more
beautiful than any others.
