I have a Skutt electric kiln that fires to cone l0. However, I fire
from cone 5 to 7 at present. When my kiln firings took an hour longer
than usual , I was told by the man who rewires my kiln that the necessity
for a repair job depended on how long I was willing to put up with
progressively slower firings before getting the kiln rewired. Mia in ABQ
