mousey glaze

The other day I was mixing batches of glaze when I knocked the lid off of
one I hadn't used in a while. WHEW! the smell!

Bet you can tell where I'm going...

Well, I fished the dead mouse out of the bucket - now - what should I do
with this glaze? It still smells. What can I add that won't adversely
affect the glaze - it is a clear c9...SG144 from Chappell - with dead
mouse as an additive.

I hope I don't have to get rid of the whole bucketfull.

Might try it to see what you get. Might have come up with a whole new
thing. Naming such a glaze brings all sorts of things to mind. Connie

Why not let it dry out to dust. Then add water again.

I always have something drying on top of the kiln, to use up some of the
otherwise waste heat. My usual is cat litter. After drying there is no
smell and I use it to make some very good glazes and am even trying to
use it as a terra sigilata, because of the fineness of the
montmorillinite particles.

If we put my cat litter with your mousey glaze, would the first chase
away the second? :-)
