I plan on slip casting some items, and learning to throw.
I have heard that Stone ware should be fired to 04-05, and then glazed.
Then fired to 6-8 with the glaze and body maturing at the same time.
The I ordered stone ware glaze with my slip, but the glaze says to fire (on
bisque) to 06. This would mean firing the body to 6-8 and then re-firing
glaze only to 06.
What technique is better? Right?
