bisque for woodfire

A friend of mine has been preparing some work to take to a woodfiring at
another potter's kiln. She has used a high-stoneware. The firing will be
a typical cone 10-11 firing, with some simple glazing. In bisquing the work,
prior to transporting it, some two hours away by car, it was overfired, to
about cone one.

She wonders if the overfiring would preclude any rich surface effects. ( I
don't
think so; but my experience with woodfiring is very limited.
Thank you.
