I just got a new electric kiln, and am interested in firing glass in it, as
well as my clay. Does anyone have info on temps & a general firing schedule
for Pate de Varre in a kiln? Does the mold have to be plaster (all I've ever
used). Also, I have an obscure article that a former professer handed out
that refers to kiln casting glaze in molds. Has anyone ever tried this? With
all this glass firing, will there be serious harm to my kiln?
I would also be interested in the glaze painting ceramic board idea that I
just saw a post on, so if anyone knows where to buy such a thing, please let
me know, as well.
I am also searching for a Granger exhaust fan to rig to my kiln for venting.
Anyone know where to buy online?
