The best way to find an out-of-print book is via BookFinder: www.bookfinder.com

Hi there everybody,
Since everybody has been very helpful with all of my questions, I've got
another one.
I'm trying to find 'Pioneer Pottery' by Michael Cardew. Yes, yes, yes I
know it's
out of print, but I'm trying to find it.
So if your favorite used book store has a copy, or you some how have an
extra copy
you are willing to part with please let me know. I will be very very very
grateful. I don't care
about the condition, just as long it has all of the pages.
Thanks,
Steve Dalton

HI....
I found my copy in an antique mall last year....but better yet.....why don't
you send an email to Seth Cardew?? See if there are copies to be found......
I believe Seth is Michael's son or grandson??? Anyway......couldn't hurt...
I emailed Seth in early spring about classes at Wenford Pottery in
Cornwall.....received a lovely hand-written letter from his wife Roberta and
a schedule of classes.......like I said couldn't hurt to find out about
copies of the book from another Cardew!!
SethCardew@aol.com....... - email address....

by the way....I must have hit the send key too quickly or the wrong
one...anyway...here's the correct website for John C. Campbell Folk School in
Brasstown NC for anyone interested (this was in reference to glass slumping
classes) http://www.folkschool.com
telephone: 1-800- FOLK-SCH

90's again....whew.....but it's better than the recent 100-plus we were
having....drought doesn't affect mint at all, does it??? maybe I need to
make mint pots??? kinda a ceramic frog....shallow for water and to hold
sprigs of mint in??? anyone ever done this??? what do you think???? mint
on the brain here and all over the yard!! LOL
