I've decided to start getting back into programming and, not really liking =
any
of the glaze software I have tried, have (perhaps foolishly) decided to =
develop
a program which will not only handle glazes, but also clay bodies. Any
suggestions on references to use for glaze and/or claybody formulation =
and/or
fit calculations, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all respondents=21

Chris
If you want to do clay body formulation I recommend "Pioneer Pottery" by Michael
Cardew (my copy 1969, battered, clay/glaze/rust stained, beloved, my funeral eul
will include selected readings). Appendix 10 has a series of clay calcs that I
entered/ran on a spreadsheet, tied in neatly with glaze calcs using the same raw
material analyses lists.
