a kiln load of blisters/craters

I had a bunch of cone 10 stoneware, painted on outside with Western
engobes, bisqued at 06, then fired with Western clear glaze at cone 6.
(Oxidation in electric kiln.) Every piece has a section which has
blisters. Occassionally there is a small piece of crazing instead (a
spot of bare clay shows through). Any ideas why this happened? The
Potters Dictionary wasn't really specific. Bisque wasn't hot enough?
Didn't cool slow enough?

Can this be repaired enough for functional pieces or should I just start
over?

Thanks,
Cindi
