It only takes about a minute to apply the copyright symbol to your site and
you can also electronically watermark your pictures if that is important to
you.

I'm not sure the addition of the copyright symbol is the only thing I need.
But, even if I need to 'spell it out' it only will take a minute writing in
HTML code.

Just 'copy' and 'paste' .

As for the watermark, you can add it in Adobe Photoshop or other imaging
programs. In this case it is the Digimarc Company. You need to register at
the company web site and a number is assigned to you and that number is the
'watermark' which you control the visibility. There are two types of
services, basic, read free, and a fee driven service that will find your
pictures on the web if they are being used online.
Or as the company states:
Watermarks are imperceptible digital identifiers embedded in images using
Digimarc Corporation ("Digimarc") products. The watermarks for this
subscription type carry a Basic ID, which links to the on-line service
("Digimarc Registry") that Digimarc maintains. Digimarc Registry permits
third parties who read the watermark in an image to use the Basic ID in that
watermark to learn the identity and other information ("Contact Details") of
the watermark owner ("Subscriber").
Look under the 'filters' menu.

Hope this helps.
