Clayarters:

What a wonderful experience it was last week; having "our" Vince here to
teach his colored clay workshop.

Vince is the consummate professional; so well prepared, so
knowledgeable, and so pleasant in his delivery of that knowledge.
In a relaxed and productive atmosphere, we learned new (to us) ways to
work with clay and had lots of fun....Vince has a wonderful sense of
humor. And it was neat to see the little wheels turning as participants
thought of ways to adapt their new knowledge to their own work.

During the workshop, we had a potluck and slideshow to which we invited
my students and area clayartists that were unable to attend the
workshop. They were *so* envious when they saw what they were missing;
it is incredible what Vince can do with colored clay.
And Vince's work: beautiful, intelligent, and thoughtful. I have only
seen slides; I hope to one day see his work in person.

And yes, he is as smart as his Clayart posts sound.

What else can I say? If you ever have an opportunity to take one of
Vince's workshops....run, don't walk to sign up. We plan to have Vince
back next year for his "Ancient Clay" workshop.

Thanks, Vince, it was a pleasure. We'll keep the light on for you.
