I am living in Phoenix, Arizona and am wondering if there are other
clayarters living here. Sometimes I feel isolated and would like a loose
contact with other artists and clay people. Or maybe even more. If you
exist, please drop me a line. Shelley

Dear Shelley,

There's a great group of active potters that form an organization named CLAY
in the valley. Call me at Marjon Ceramics (602-272-6585) and I'll be glad
to share names of members you can contact or, the location of their next
meeting.

I live in Phoenix and am the resident potter at Shemer Art Center. My name is
Sharon. I have been a potter for 30 years. The AZ CLAY organization has a
big exhibit and sale at Shemer every fall. Call Shemer for a call for work.
Lots of clay people in the valley of the sun. I also teach hot glass. In
2000, I am curating a glass exhibit called, If It Melts, It Pours.

Pax,
