We have visitors from Chesapeake, Va, and I'm seizing the opportunity to
encourage the very lovely, creative retired florist lady/guest to try
her hand with clay. So far today, she's done pinch pots and a hump mold
(small). Both are clearly superior to what I did at the same stage of
learning. She's very eager to learn more when she returns to
Chesapeake...name is Ottie ... She's definitely got the touch!Question:
Do any of you know of art centers where clay is taught or other
opportunities in the area of Chesapeake, Virginia, where Ottie can
continue to participate in becoming a clayaholic like the rest of us? I
think she may have a gift for handbuilding for sure. Thank you.

In the Mojave dashing madly from Death Valley to Nine Mile Canyon
(wildflowers) to Mt Whitney to Panamint Springs ... with Ottie in tow.
First time we've met... I think she's not exactly underwhelmed.
