While you're in Homer, take the boat run over to Halibut Cove.
This is a summer escape/artists colony. There is one open
pottery studio over there, and I believe there are some other
potters in the area. I bought a really nice little Temoku glazed
vase at a co-op gallery there. Access is only by boat or floatplane.
There is a daily excursion from the Spit at Homer. Have a good time!
