ACOMA PUEBLO POTTERS

Three daughters of famous Acoma Pueblo
potter, Lucy Lewis, will be giving a lecture in Hamilton, Ontario. The 5th
Bodil Pearson Memorial Lecture, in conjunction with The Potters' Guild of
Hamilton and Region, are thrilled to announce a 10 day visit by Emma Lewis
Mitchell, Dolores Lewis Garcia, and Carmel Lewis Haskaya, which will begin
with their lecture at:

MCMASTER UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTRE
EWART ANGUS HALL, ROOM 1A6
THURSDAY JUNE 17, 1999 AT 8:00 PM
Tickets are $10.00 at the door.
To get to the Medical Centre, reach Hamilton via the QEW, to Hwy 403 West
exit.
At the lights at the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Main St. and
proceed approximately 4 blocks. The Centre is on the right. Follow the
signs into the underground garage, park under the hospital and take the
PURPLE elevators to the first floor. Follow the signs to the lecture hall.
The women have given hands-on workshops throughout the US. This is their
first visit to Canada and we hope to welcome them with a large audience.
Since the workshop is completely filled, this is a unique opportunity to hear
these wonderful potters.
