glazing on a rainy day

Anyone and everyone,

I have been experimenting with a few new glazes recently, and a couple
look reasonably promising.

It has been raining all day today, and one of the glazes is going on to
the pots like a "pea soup" - and cracking finely whereever the glaze
pools. I did not recall this from the first series of tests.

I have another glaze that goes on terribly when the humidity is high.

I am concerned in the end about crawling problems being introduced on
the test glaze.

Short of heating my studio in the middle of the summer does anyone have
any straightforward solutions or greater experience with such a weather
induced problems?

Things I have thought about but not tried: 1. warming my pots up
slightly 2. Lowering the specific gravity of the glaze.

Talk to me potting people - I need your pearls of wisdom!

Bev,
