crackle slip

I really could use a helping hand in formulating a slip that crackles
on bisque or leatherhard, ^10 stoneware. I have tried many, many different
ideas. The best I came up with was very small crackles.

P.S. I would like to be able to raku this slip without it flaking off.

Please help!

here is a white crackle slip that i have not used myself, but got from those
who do and use it with great success. they are salting to ten or eleven and
get some really nice mud flat looking cracks. im not too sure about the
application, thick i would guess. i think it goes on green ware, but i
could be wrong.

Hi Gabrielle M. Madsen:
I think all you have to do is to use a thicker coat of slip like maybe 2 or 3
coats and that should do it.
