Dewitt Gimblet on sat 1 may 99
I responded a newsgroup query and received the following response. Ray has
inherited two pots he believes are by Leach and Hamada. (Oh, to have such
relatives!) Can someone on this list point him in the right direction to
get them appraised? He's in western Australia so his local resources are a

Thanks for the response. The other pot is a Hamada, I suppose delicate was
probably the wrong way to describe it, sorry. I live in Perth in Western
Australia and I sometimes wonder whether we have the people with the right
skills and knowledge to be accurate. However I will follow up through the
Art gallery. As a pot (both Leach and Hamada) is there a market for them and
are they in demand. I can provide a digital photo if it makes a difference.
