John, one more question regarding your great response. What Is the best way
to understand limits. I know in the demos that I have looked at for both
Insight and Matrix, they have screens regarding limits. Is purchasing one
of these programs the best way to check for limits?

Proably, or HyperGlaze if you are a Macintosh person like I am. Doing
glaze calculations by hand is tedious and boring. Let the computer do
the work for you. Next you'll ask what set of limits to use. I don't
care. Some people like one, some people like another. They are all
pretty close to each other and are just guides anyway.

"It is time for potters to claim their proper field. Pottery in its pure
form relies neither on sculptural additions nor on pictorial decorations.
but on the counterpoint of form, design, colour, texture and the quality
of the material, all directed to a function." Michael Cardew in "Pioneer
