simple kiln building question

>Dodi the company that supplies that material will gladly ship you
instructions if you write or call them. When I make mortar , a recipe I have
used good to cone 12-14 is portland cement 25 lbs, fire clay 50 lbs, sawdust
medium to large grade 1 to five pounds , and alumina hydrate added 15 lbs,
this is mixed to the consistency of thick mud and applied to a form or for
laying brick. I've had good results and it holds its strenght and refactory
while offering a little insulation value, due to the saw dust. Let this dry
slowly and then fire the first time very slowly.
