I am using 50% ball clay 50% talc for hand building. It is very short
but it offers a nice white canvas for my underglaze decorations. I fire it
to 04 but have found that bisqueing to 2 cones higher than the final glaze
firing helps to reduce pinholing and bubbles. My instructor H. Deller has
informed me that this body should be good up to cone 1 but I have not tried
to push my luck. Hope this helps.
