Rebecca, you can stop the belt from slipping by tightening the belt... loosen
the bolts which hold the pulley and turn the belt tightening screw a few
turns, retighten the bolts. You may need to use some belt grip on the belt
and pulley too. If the clay bunches up in front of the cutting bar you may
have too wet of clay in the mixer making slip and reducing the friction
necessary to move the clay through the blades...just add dry powder clay
until the clay begins to move.
