Several of my students have used clear silicone glue to attach glass
to holes in ceramic work after firing. It worked fine.

Hi Clayarters,

Just adding my 2 cents re: clear silicone. I do sculpture and have lots of
glueing to do after firing. I find that silicone is irreplaceable for
glueing parts together because it allows just enough movement to avoid
breakage during shipping, life, etc. Whereas epoxy has no flexibility and
will break under stress. I still use epoxy in many forms where appropriate
but swear by silicone in the right circumstances.
