I am just starting to get a handle on the magic and mysteries of glazes.It
seems that there are some potters out there who might be able to answer this
question.A copper matte glaze was brought to temp and taken out of the kiln =
to
reduce,but dropped on the way there(It happens,right?) Sadness all =
around.But
the glaze comes out beautiful=21 A shiny, dark forest green,oil spot =
glaze=21 I
would like to get this again and will continue to try to replicate( short of
dropping the pot ).But I am curious as to how a shiny,oil-spot finish can =
come
from a sandy,matte finish all on account of it receiving air=21?=21 I know =
it's
magic, but can anyone help me with the chemical technos on this?Thanks in
advance--Oh, and I checked the spelling on this.
