wood for ribs

I have a large rib I made myself about 27 years ago out of black walnut. I
marvel at the unchanged surfaces over such a long time.

In 1965- I made several ribs of Black Walnut- soaked them overnight in
Linseed oil- let them dry-issued them to class.

I still use mine
