Join us, Thursday, March 25th, at 7:30 pm for a talk by Paul Greenhalgh,
the Head of Research at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London,
England. He will speak on Radical Ornament: Ceramics at the Fin de
Siecle. His work on this art nouveau topic, featuring examples from
France, Engalnd and Scandinavia, will culminate in a major exhibition
at the V&A, travelling then to the National Gallery in Washington in the
year 2000. Looking at ceramics Paul will explore the intellectual
agenda of those who believed themselves to be the creators of an
ornamental modernism. Cost: $10 members, $15 general public. The
Gardiner Museum, 111 Queen's Pk., Toronto. To reserve a place, phone
