Barney A:
A no-alumina glass is a common sight: bottle glass. Its recipe is
75% silica sand, 20% soda ash (anhydrous), 5% lime (or equivalent in
limestone). Put that recipe in your glazcalc program and see if you can
predict how it will behave as a glaze on a typical clay pot. What cone?
