Hello everyone!

Within sevaral weeks I will have the ultimate pleasure of visiting
New York for two weeks.
I would appreciate it very much if you could inform me on where to
find galleries, museums etc. that have modern and/or contemporary
ceramics.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Greetings from The Netherlands,

Gerlach Baas.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has an impressive ceramics collection - a newly
renovated Korean gallery holds some real beauties. I believe there is a
contemporary ceramics show there right now.
Garth Clark and Dai Ichi galleries are on W. 57th street between 5th & 6th
(?). Garth Clark shows a wide variety of contemporary and modern masters.
The American Craft Museum on W. 53rd is also a good spot - check with the NY
Times or Gallery Guide to be sure they're showing ceramics when you're here.
You may also want to stop into the Jane Hartsook Gallery at Greenwich House in
the West Village.
Have a great time!
