Due to a conflict in Peter's schedule, the workshop date has been
changed - please note the following.
Spend a three day weekend with artists, Peter Voulkos, Paul Soldner and
Kathy Koop June 12, 13 and 14th as they demonstrate their work at the
Penryn Workshop, 1394 Orange Hill Lane, Penryn, CA 95663.
The historic significance of both Peter and Paul=92s work is well
documented. In 1954, Peter was Paul=92s first ceramic instructor at Otis
Arts Institute. Together, they helped break many traditional ways of
working with and looking at clay. Their friendship and collaborative
teaching relationship has grown and endured ever since.
Kathy Koop works and teaches in New Wilmington, PA. She has travelled
throughout the world teaching ceramics workshops.
Cost is =24300.00 for the workshop, =24375.00 with woodfire (glazes
provided). The woodfire will be loaded prior to the workshop on
Wednesday, June 9th. Bring or ship pieces to the above address.
