best wheel ( in the world, is it?)

IMHO, and being British, undoubtedly the 'Best Wheel in The World', is the
'Alsager', available through Potterycrafts.
This wheel has been designed with high production in mind, with attached
adjustable seat, built-in workshelf, counterweighted speed control pedal, 14"
head and a voluminous splashpan (not to be confused with the soup plate
supplied with most American wheels), all supported on a nice marine-ply
cabinet.
All of this easily transportable in a Renault 4.
Unfortunately the cost of this lovely piece of equipment is fairly prohibitive
here in the 'States, so I don't suppose there are a lot, or any of them here
at all. (and neither are Renault 4s, damn it!) But this hasn't stopped me from
thinking about importing one. Anyone else interested in Paradise?
