glaze crack on plates

Aloha, I've been using B-Mix clay from Laguna for about 8 or 9 years now
and just in the last year or so have had a lot of losses from glaze
cracks on mostly plate forms with just this 1 glaze: Yanagihara White,
cone 10, reduction. The crack is only in the glaze; rarely will it crack
the clay too. I've tried throwing the plates and chip/dips a little
thicker, thinning out the Yana white, fooling with the recipe and trying
different types of materials. But I still get too many losses. Any
thoughts out there? Thanks (Mahalo!)

Robert, I can't help you with the glaze cracks, but I am interested in your
recipe for Yanagihara White. I've just started some classes at the local =
Fine
Arts Center and one of their glazes is named the same. We're using =
Highwater's
Phoenix, and I've tried it on Laguna's Rod's Bod, and Miller 900, and it =
crazes
badly on all of the clays. I'd be curious to see if the recipes are the =
same.
Thanks.
