Hello there...
Couldn't you use kiln element wire for the wire on the buttons for a raku
kiln????? i don't know how much element wire is (i have a bunch of brand new
stuff from a used kiln i bought).... also i've been meaning to try and use
element wire which comes from electric heaters... i'll experiment and let you
know..... the high temp wire i've seen in the catalogs is really high....

The problem with Element wire is that it becomes brittle once it has
been fired. Nichrome wire, a nickel/chromium mix is tolerant to cone 10
and above, and retains flexibility after firing.
