There are still spaces available for the National Council on Education
for the Ceramic Arts pre-conference program at Ohio U March 14 - 16th.

OU alum Walter Ostrom ((an excellent teacher from Nova Scotial College
of Art and Design who does lowfire pottery) will deliver the keynote.
Panels: International Symposium Panel, Ceramic Installation, Castable
Kilns: High Tech/Low Tech with castable kiln construction, and National
Graduate Student Panel.

Demos: Tre Arenz (USA), Josh DeWeese (USA, potter, Archie Bray Fndn),
Doug Jeck (USA, figurative sculptor, Univ. of WA), Martin Mohwald
(Germany), Antje Scharfe (Germany), and Setsuo Wantanabe (Japan).

Guest Lectures: Janet Mansfield (Australia, Ceramics Art & Perception
magazine) and Walter Ostrom

Kiln Firings: Simultaneous wood, salt, and soda kiln constuction and
demos

Alumni lunch: all OU alums are invited to be their guest for lunch.
