Everyone;

I want to let you all know that a member of the list (Andrew Lubow) has
posted a message to Clayart that is a compilation of clay related
websites. And, since it is quite long I thought it better to let you
all know about it and recommend you send a messge to him persoanlly to
have him forward it to you rather than clog any mailboxes with it. His
address is:

Andrew Lubow Disneylover@email.msn.com

Also, since I'm here (instead of reading mail and moderating), I want to
comment on a message the other day annoucing a juried competition on
the web. The sender (I believe from England?) said this was the first
time it was done. I would like to correct this as it has already been
done, and I believe one of the first ones was an exhibtion that was organized
by myself and Richard Burkett about 5 years ago. It's called the
_Virtual Ceramics Exhibit_ and it resides at the following site (this
site alone is worth noting):

http://www.uky.edu/Artsource

You'll find it in the electronic exhibitons section, or add /vce to the
end of the address. This exhibit was juried by Bill Hunt (formerly of
Ceramics Monthly) and Janet Mansfield (from Ceramics: Art & Perception).
It is a very nice showing of clay artists that many of you might enjoy
seeing. I'm sure many of you already have checked it out, but thought
others might like to know about it as one of the early juried clay
exhibitions on the web.

Sorry to gone so, and I will now quietly return to the moderator's
corner!

Joe
