i made a big typo in that glaze that i gave you all.

i have posted it so many times to folks that i did not re/read
it.
it is:
60 Volcanic Ash
40 Gertsley Borate
opacify to taste.
about 1% Zircopax, Tin or whatever.
this is a good cone 4,5,6 temp glaze. test
if you slide the scale.......50/50 let's say.....it will drop a few cones.
test, test...........if you raise the scale 80/20 maybe to cone 8.
volash alone......cone 10
remember, gerts is changeable and so is ash.
it is a very serendipitous glaze.
but, for schools, kids, groups.......it is wonderful.
