silicone stamps, clarification!

just fill the indentation and place a small piece of cloth on top of
the wet silicone in the hole. Then smear silicone on the exposed
side of the cloth. Cut to size when it drys. The level I was
talking about is the top side of the original slab. It depends on
your use of the stamp as to wheather you wil smear silicone out onto
the top of the slab or not. If you are running the stamp through
your roller you may want to keep the stamp as much like the original
as you can. If you are simply pressing the stamp into clay you might
find the flange handy.

I wish I could draw you a diagram on this thing. I'm sure I am
confusing the issue even more.

My best suggestion is to simply try it. You will get something and
it will probably "work".
